Polyepoxysuccinic acid solution (40% aqueous)

Polyepoxysuccinic acid is a phosphorus-free polycarboxylate used for scale inhibition and dispersion in industrial water. Its carboxyl-rich polymer structure interacts with growing mineral crystals and suspended particles, helping limit deposit growth and particle agglomeration. This provides a route to controlling mineral fouling without introducing a phosphonate structure.

The selected aqueous concentrate is diluted or combined with other water-treatment ingredients. It is especially associated with calcium-scale control and the dispersion of solids that might otherwise settle on heat-transfer surfaces. Its main function is deposit management; corrosion protection, microbiological control and removal of existing heavy deposits are separate treatment tasks. Performance depends on water composition and the complete treatment program rather than polymer addition alone.
