5-[(4-Ethylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl]pyridin-2-amine

5-[(4-Ethylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl]pyridin-2-amine is an aminopyridine intermediate that carries a preinstalled N-ethylpiperazine side chain. The exocyclic amino group provides a site for attachment to an activated heteroaromatic core, while the pyridylmethyl linkage transfers the basic piperazine-containing fragment into the final molecular framework.
