Dipeptide-2

Dipeptide-2 is a synthetic dipeptide composed of valine and tryptophan, used as a skin-conditioning ingredient in cosmetic eye-care systems. It is associated with products targeting the appearance of under-eye puffiness and a tired-looking eye contour. Its water-compatible peptide structure supports delivery through light aqueous vehicles as well as emulsions, allowing a conditioning active to be incorporated without using an oily peptide carrier.

The powder is an isolated peptide input for preparation of aqueous concentrates and finished cosmetic vehicles. It can be formulated alongside other eye-care actives while its own contribution remains separately controlled. The solvent system establishes dissolution and distribution of the peptide; emulsifiers and rheology modifiers provide the separate texture needed for a gel, serum or cream.

• Eye-contour serums and gels: Used as a peptide component in lightweight eye-area products developed for the appearance of puffiness and tired skin. The selected aqueous vehicle distributes the ingredient within a leave-on formula.
• Eye creams and peptide concentrates: Used in eye-care emulsions or intermediate concentrates that combine a specified peptide contribution with separate moisturizers and other actives. Supplying the single powder allows the active blend to be assembled independently.
